What is Emailux?

Emailux is an SMTP/SMTP_AUTH Mail Client. It lets you send Mail using a very simple text interface. It has been though to be used from shell prompt or from cron jobs in order to send information to the administrator using an SMTP AUTH account.

Download Emailux

At this time, Emailux is available in two formats: as a tgz source package and as a Debian package. Here you have the links to get the software:

• Emailux 0.1.2 (TGZ Package)
• Emailux 0.1.2 (Debian Package)

APT-GET Configuration

In order to install Emailux using apt-get, you can add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list:

• deb http://emailux.sourceforge.net/emailux testing/

Then, you should run:

• apt-get update
• apt-get install emailux
